Other formidable acts include “Travis Scott“, N.E.R.D., Tyler the Creator, Justice, St. Vincent, CHVRCHES, Death Cab For Cutie, Santigold, Blood Orange, Miguel, Lizzo, First Aid Kit, Superorganism, ASAP Ferg, French Montana, Odesza, Daniel Caesar, Bastille, Foster the People, Cold War Kids, Wolfmother, Sylvan Esso, Galantis, Goldlink, The Neighbourhood, AJR, The Drums, The Presets, Denzel Curry, Ravyn Lenae, Mikky Ekko, Knox Fortune, and Welshly Arms, among others.
In addition to a killer lineup, LIB offers a comparable culinary aspect to match which has been the latest trend for festivals alike. Attendees are no longer solely music junkies, there are foodies, and individuals that simply wanna ‘show off for the gram!’
Cocktail School is back by popular demand with a nine-session series featuring a lineup of prominent local and national mixologists, brought together by Bryant Jane and Lyle Cervenka of Starboard Tack, and hosted by Gene Samuel, of The Fabulous Swiggavino Bros. Bartenders take center stage at Cocktail School by sharing their tricks of the trade and teaching guests how to make a variety of popular drinks.
New this year on the main festival grounds is The Cookout, a live fire cooking experience, curated by Chef Justin Kingsley Hall of The Kitchen at Atomic, located near the Huntridge Stage. The Cookout will feature a rotating list of chefs cooking over roaring wood fires with a new menu every day with each dish offered in limited quantities and only available until sold out.
The fun doesn’t stop there! There of course will be comedy and interesting art installations on site to round out the weekend experience. There’s no competition when it comes to other festivals like Coachella and Outside Lands, Life Is Beautiful is heading the festival circuit this year around.
