Backed by the h.wood Group, a hospitality team responsible for popular spots such as: Blind Dragon, Delilah, Bootsy Bellows, and more, the team always deliver crowd-pleasing celebrity driven spaces that are quite the experience. It’s a little more upscale than your average Mexican food joint, but not stuffy — simply put Petite Taqueria is chic but also serves delicious food!

The sceney, dark, uber chic restaurant screams sultry and is lined with velvet booths, glass accents and candlelights. It’s one of the many hit restaurants from the h.wood group. Located off of La Cienega, this establishments boasts itself on quick sharable eats without the hefty price. It’s a nice mixture that caters to many crowds. Whether you’re looking for a nice happy hour (and a half), a night out, or simply a lovely meal — this is your go-to. It’s also located next to the nightlife hotspot, Poppy, which draws in more flavor and upbeat energy for the late-comers.

Tons of vegan and vegetarian options are available as well as a plethora of meat-inclusive bites all bursting with flavor. They’ve recently added some new items to the menu such as: The Impossible Chorizo Meat and Papas (fingerling potatoes, chorizo impossible meat and cheese topped with pickled Anaheim peppers, onions and cilantro). along with the Double Decker Taco (both crunchy and soft shell covered with a thin layer of beans, ground beef picadillo, lettuce, pico de gallo, shredded jack cheese, cotija) are a few of their latest items. The pork belly taco is an interesting choice to pick as the taste is more Mexican-fusion. The Bean and Cheese Burritos from the appetizer menu is a super crave-able option that I will ALWAYS stick by. Other notable items include: shrimp fajitas, lamb birria tacos, baja tacos, sweet corn tamale and an interesting lamb rib barbacoa.

The extensive menu doesn’t stop with the bites, the beverage menu is quite impressive as well. From a skinny margarita to flaming margs this restaurant does it all. Also, good to note the bartenders aren’t skimpy on the liquor pours.

Locals flock to this establishment for the good vibes, but stay for the amazing service, delicious bites, and not to mention weekly specials (shout-out to Petite Taqueria for the Mezcal Mondays — where all Mezcal is half off!) If you’re looking for the perfect place that merges chic AND great bites then Petite Taqueria is your place.
