On Friday 4/19, Cannacity, a newly launched hemp clothing lifestyle brand for men and women, hosted their first private event in celebration of 4/20, aka National Marijuana Day. In association with The Artists Project LA, this fashion and art incubator brought 420 friendly celebrities, influencers and notables to a private Mid-Wilshire event location at 4:20pm sharp on 4/19, where they partied straight for the next twelve hours until 4:20am on 4/20.
An in-house “budtender” rolled and distributed complementary cannabis cones throughout the event while serving Chronic Creamery cannabis infused vanilla ice-cream root beer floats. Dee Dee’s Original CBD Topicals supplied massage therapists who gave CBD massages to event guests while CBD beauty brand Baignoire Herbaine shared their highly curated line of high dosage CBD infused bath bombs, lip balm, and even personal lubricant meant to provide utter relaxation during intimacy… Yes please!
“The concept for Cannacity started ten years ago as I was sitting at a coffee shop in Amsterdam. Now, Cannacity is a fully realized dream. One I can touch. One can I can wear. And to finally see it come to fruition, though collaborations with some of the world’s best photographers and artists is truly my vision realized. And, to top it off, all my dearest friends and colleagues show up to my company launch event to celebrate the birth of my new brand baby! Well… it’s a really good day.” – Lisa Lindo, founder and CEO of Cannacity.
Notable event attendees included: Adina Porter- Emmy award nominated actress for American Horror Stories, Mathew St. Patrick (Actor), Hilary Barraford (Actress), DJ Prophet (Celebrity DJ), Mike Rebel ( Musician), Kenn Gray & Korrie Hayes (Co-owners of Sanctuary Fashion Week & Grey Haze Media), Damien Lichtenstein (Director/Producer), Nate Selassie (Musician), Delia Outlaw (Influencer), Shaka Smith (Model, Influencer), Hari Tahov (Model and Influencer), Jeffery Peterson (Comedian), and many more…
